Where is the option to defeat this necessity for GS to look over my whole system everytime I edit a gig file?
This is just a time waster.

Yeah, I agree. After I got GigaStudio, and got my GIGS copied over, everything was fine. Then, I copied over 6 CDs of WAV loops for ACID to one of my hard drives (different drive than my GIGS), and GigaStudio took FOREVER to load the next time while it examined these new files. Now, everytime I start GigaStudio, it is noticibly slower in loading than before I copied over the loops.

I\'d like the ability to at least tell GigaStuio to look in a specific location of the computer rather than having it just assuming the entire system might have audio files to use. That would be more efficient in my opinion.
