Capture confussion

Hi:

When I try the Capture audio function in Gigasampler everything seems to work fine,i can control the start and stop of the recording via midi and i get to put a name on the recorded file.But i dont know where the file is going (even though i assign it a name and location before start recording).I have search info about this in the manual but can´t find anything.
Can anyone tell me what i´m doing wrong or point me where in the manual that info is?

I´m also having trouble with the capture to wave function in Gigastudio. I can find the files that I record, but I can´t control start/stop via Cubase although the midi control button is pushed.What do I do wrong?
