Maarten,

The only thing missing in the SAM Horns booklet is information/background on the recording sessions. Where did you record the Horns? Who are the players? What equipment did you use?

I am sooooooo sick of hearing about how awesome SAM horns is!!! Why? Cause it\'s been 8 days and I still don\'t have them at my front door and I am going CRAZY!!!! GOT HORNS?

They were created using Analog Synth Modelers images/icons/smile.gif

No no no no, they\'re samples derived from a multi tracked ARP Pro Soloist. The reason you don\'t get that aweful phasing with the multi tracking is that the synth is analog, therefore the waveforms never line up phase-wise. Brilliant approach, and very flexible. Can\'t wait for the trombones using the 2600. Will the piccolo trumpet come from the SH2000?

Very funny guys. Perhaps a micro moog was also used (one of my first synths). Remember the control ribbon - I thought mod /pitch wheels were going to be obsolete. Boy was I right on $##$%#$

In fact, if you\'re interested in buying and selling stocks, just do exact opposite of my trades and you should be able to buy both the QL and the Vienna libraries with all the $$ you will make!

Maybe the box got intercepted by the FDA (under suspicion of containing samples of seriously addicting material)... They never trust stuff from Holland in the States...

Or, does it say \"French\" Horns on the box?

2 months! Woe dude you fell between the cracks. has always been great to me. I\'ve never ordered and not got it the next day and I know many others have the same experience. Doug Rogers is on this forum ask him about it or call SO and I know they\'ll help. They really are nice folks there images/icons/smile.gif
