I have a following problem:
I recorded few audio tracks from midi tracks (via external synth) in Cakewalk. So far everything is in perfect sync with midi. Then I decided to add some tracks from GigaStudio using capture. The strangest thing happens: while GS is playing and capturing, everything is in perfect sync (midi, audio and GS), but when I insert captured wave file in Cakewalk, the timing drifts off, so after 30 seconds I have about a second delay!
Has anyone encountered this problem? Any solutions?
My system:
- AMD Athlon 800Mhz, 192Mb Ram
- TB Multisound Pinnacle Pro used for cakewalk audio
- SBLive used for GS monitoring and playback
- everything is set for 24-bit (Cake recording and GS capturing, SBLive is only for monitoring and does not support 24-bit)
