How do you get S-1000 sounds off s-5000 disk

I have the Quantum Leap Brass for my Akai S-5000. On the CD\'s I find the low memory S-1000 versions of each soundset. However, S-converter doesn\'t see the disk in my CD drive.

Any work around to get Gigasampler/S-converter to translate/recognize the S-1000 sounds?
