Greetings,
Is that free pan flute gig posted by thomas-j back in July, I blv, still available anywhere?
I downloaded at the time onto a laptop, but only just now was able to transfer it to
my giga PC and it turnsout I\'ve gotten a CRC error msg when trying to open
the .rar archive.

I looked back at the posting and checked the link but it appears to be dead.

Anyone know where a downloadble version might be?

Thanks much and regards,
Arch

Is it the \"Pan Flute Enigma\" you\'re talking about?

It has a pretty special sound (for want of a better description). I used it in a Halloween
piece.

Hi there. That would be my samples you\'re talking about. I currently don\'t have it online because of bandwidth and space restrictions from my ISP. Perhaps some users who downloaded it would be so kind as to offer their help. The file is 25mb if I remember correctly.

Sorry I couldn\'t be of help.

I missed that pan flute as well. If anyone has it posted, could you direct us latecomers to it. Thanks in advance.

Thomas,

I hope you are well. A while back you were kind enough to send me a link to hear some of your fantastic cues. Unfortunately, that link was lost when my untrusty old laptop passed on to mac heaven.

Would you be so kind as to point me in their direction once again.

Regards,
Didier

Rar files are just comressed files (like winzip)
if you go to www.rarlab.com (\"http://www.rarlab.com\") you can download the utility.

Once the file is decompressed you can use it. It is in Gig format.

Thanks Thomas for re-posting the pan flute file.
The Pan Flute Enigma file I referenced earlier was of course a different (much smaller) file, and I don\'t even know where it came from (probably Worra\'s site). Your initials as part of the your RAR will make it easier to remember the origin of this excellent pan flute. Your generosity in sharing is greatly appreciated!

Thanks much to Thomas-J and Tobias!
I\'m very grateful. The pan flute sounds great; nice variety of articulations. I\'ve been trying to download the G-Town stuff too. Can\'t wait to play around with it.

Thomas,

Whilst you are kind enough to help us play sample catch-up...... how about posting the viola you were working on?

I was on the mailing list, but have spent the last two months composing, remodelling our new home and most importantly welcoming our first child into this world. I had no time to check into the forum and alas, fret that I missed a bit of your programming wizardry.

Do you still have any of your music up at the site you pointed me to?

I also have to thank you for the link to the Jack Smalley notes a while back. These were very helpful and enlightening. Many thanks!

Regards,
Didier

I\'m sorry but I had to put the viola project on ice as I\'ve had an insane workload lately. If any I could perhaps upload the sustains patch which has been done all the time. I\'m not sure if it would be useful to anyone (being a little short of perfect images/icons/wink.gif ) but maybe I will. I\'m still on a busy schedule, trying to finish my demo cd while keeping track of several other projects. Not to mention my studies.

Please bear with me, as it could take a while to finish the viola pet-project.

Joe,

I have no idea where they are right now in Cyberspace, but I would be happy to send you a .sit or .rar file with them. We must give \'props\' to Thomas for these, though.

Email me with an obvious title description and I would be happy to oblige.

Regards,
Didier

Thanks Didier, you should now have mail! Btw, it might be a good idea to remove your email address from your post to prevent spamming.
