Giga and Cubase VST in one computer

I am planning to buy GigaStudio, Cubase VST,
Computer, Sound Card... (everything new).
1.Can I run Giga And VST in one computer? 2.What CPU, Hard Drive do I need?
3.Do I need 2 sound cards or one?

TripleDat on my machine:
P-III 550
256 mb ram
Aark 20/20
The system runs pretty good BUT this machine runs ONLY this ... nothing els ... and I mean NOTHING.

Does this means your system does not work (it can not do anything).

hehe ... no... it works great but this computer is dedicated to running the above ... nothing else on it.

Do you have separate hard disks for VST & Gigastudio if so can you recommend me what brand and model to buy.I have a similar system but only one hard disk for audio and the other for apps,and would like to upgrade.
