Pedal down samples triggered from Giga to Kontakt?

Hi everybody. I\'m really trying to find out this but I still have no answers to this question.
When converting Gigasampler piano programs to KONTAKT, from Kontakt itself or from an external editor (such as CDXTRACT), does the \"pedal down\" layer work in Kontakt?

I\'m a pianist, and I have to choose between normal Gigasampler CD\'s or special KONTAKT versions, harder to find and usually more expensive.

They\'ve added \"dimensions\", switchable by controllers.

Its still not as cool as giga, but for pianos it should be fine
