I read a post from someone that there were updates for the Garritan Strings in the works. Do I need to make sure I am registered to receive these updates? Or will I be able to download them from Gary\'s site?

Just want to make sure I have the latest and greatest! http://www.northernsounds.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/smile.gif

The story is ... 16 CDs of exquisite instruments, 130 page manual, MaestroTools, etc., is just not enough for you fabulous Maestros. You deserve the latest and the greatest. Within the next few weeks all registered members will be receiving update CDs (too large to download), articulation files, and other treats.

Gary:

\"Too large to download\" oooh, YEAH I like that!!!!

Owning GOS is like being in a great new club or something!!

I can see it now, the annual GOS convention coming to a city near you!

Cool Gary. Great to hear!

Will the update include more range on the short bow violins (upper range)? I believe that is what the post I read was referring to.

Awesome! I\'ve just begun really digging into the library for my new project, and the only real complaint I had was that the short bowed strings don\'t go high enough.

Great work guys! Everything is top notch. I find myself realizing that I can actually write the string lines that I want now because I have a library that can perform them!
