Here\'s my contribution to the \"my first GPO test!!!!!\" tradition images/icons/smile.gif

I\'ve used mostly percussion intruments (they\'re my favourite sounds) and the celesta. Plus an old \"Soundscan\" accordion.

Nino,

Very well done!! It definately has a specific grove and feel to it. I especially like the texture that you have come up with using the mallets, celesta, and percussion. My head was bopping from the first beat. Good job.

I would like to hear other things that you write usuing GPO!! images/icons/smile.gif

tres jolie monsieur nino,
can\'t say I am blown away but the accordian but ... it works. The rest of the piece reminded me a bit of Thomas Newman sped up a bit. Nice sound on the production end. I would like to see where this goes with some chord changes and added instruments. Quite liked the feeling overall.

Thanks guys for the nice comments.

Yes indeed, music from typical japanese RPGs are had a strong influence on me. I\'m a big fan of the Chrono Cross soundtrack and so on... So if you like the feeling and if it reminds you of this kind of games, I can\'t be happier images/icons/smile.gif

This is very nice work, Nino. It needs to be longer though. It stopped just as I was getting really interested. images/icons/wink.gif

Very nice Nino! First time I\'ve heard something like this chez Garritan...

Isn\'t music brilliant....so many variations are possible.

Nino, I really like the rhythm of this song. Very catchy. I\'d say the accordian needs to come in sooner and then bring it in again and layer it with a string section. Great song! Very videogame-ish (that\'s a compliment coming from me considering I\'m a big videogame fan.) images/icons/grin.gif

Nino

I like this. It has a catchy groove. Reminds me of Andreas Vollenweider.

I hope you develop this more. Would you mind if I post this on the GPO site?

Thank you for posting this.

To Gary Garritan:
I\'m very ashamed but I don\'t know Andreas Vollenweider, sure I\'d like to hear his music.
I would be more than honored if you post this on the GPO site, you\'re welcome to do it anytime Gary. Thank you very much ! Get ready for un update soon though images/icons/smile.gif

Nino, I REALLY love this. Reminds me of early Isham movie scores, with a touch of Jeff Beal.

But the heck with that -- it\'s all you. Very nice.
