Where does everyone want to go? Who would go?

New York? California? Vegas? Vancouver? Italy? a cruise? Could be tied in with NAMM or another show.

I\'m in Hawaii (Kauai) but Santa Barbara sounds fine, too (especially if it\'s in the range May 19 to June 2 as I will be on the \"mainland\" for other purposes).

Hamburg (Germany) seems to be perfect for me:

1. It is cold and raining for days now, so you could bring some warmth from the GPO strings in

2. We had (and will have) some really stormy weather here, would be a perfect complement for the windmachine

3. We could see how GPO does with all this \"shanty-stuff\" and if we need a \"Schifferklavier\"-AddOn

4. I could learn a \"wholottatings\" from you guys, \'cause I definitely would be there..

But I guess it is not really an option for you, right? Ok ... thought so. Btw, the weather isn\'t always bad here images/icons/smile.gif

San Diego sounds good to me. I have a friend there that I have been trying to get to buy GPO. Maybe together, we could all pummel some sense into him. images/icons/smile.gif

I have to tell you though I am sick of cold, icy, damp, snowy, windy, weather! I am writing a piece about the Buffalo weather titled \"Why\"? I even have an audio sample of a thunderstorm and ice smashing down on pavement!

We could hold it outdoors with a big stage and a huge sound system. Pipe GPO through the system having musicians playing parts of the orchestra on separate systems! Gary conducts and we\'ll bill it as \"GPO Stock\"! Three whole days of concerts using GPO!

That\'s not Melanie Safka by any chance, is it?

If so, I\'m incredibly impressed -- I have all her albums (mostly on vinyl, as the only thing that\'s been released is either recent stuff or \"best of\") and have been a huge fan since I was a kid (back when dinosaurs ruled the earth).

Orcas gets my vote, or Seattle. The only problem would be that it would need ot be late July or August. There\'s too great a risk of no sun betweeen April and June.

Another idea is to have a big get-together at NAMM in Los Angeles in January. Many users will be going to the show, it will be warm for those in the wintery north, and the show is an experience in itself.

Maybe we can also have smaller get-togethers in Orcas, Italy, Indianapolis, New York and various places. Club GPO in your area. images/icons/smile.gif

You could hold a seminar yourself in composition! Your work has become a true insparation to me (and I am sure many other from what I\'ve heard). As for the \"nice girls\" that maybe true but I have what my heart needs. She\'s quite wonderful! We would still love to see Italy though.

Point 3, as pertains to Mr. Marchetti: If you were to hold a seminar on composition, I would travel anywhere in the world on bare foot (if I had to) to see it! You\'ve been very inspirational.

Whenever, wherever, GPO convention sounds like a coooool idea! Especially if we do the NAMM thing, because I\'ll be 21 then. Hooray!
