pc and mac

Hi all,

How do I set up a gigasampler to use it with a protools mix system on a mac? I just want to use the gigasampler on the pc as a standalone system like any other sampler or racksynth. So how do I get midi into the pc (I\'ve already got a midi I/O connected to the mac) and how do I get sound from the pc into the mac without qualityloss?

If your PC has a game port you can possibly use that as a MIDI in/out with an adapter cable. Otherwise you can use almost any PC-compatible MIDI interface. You would hook up the PC like any other external box.

If the two computers\' sound cards have compatible digital audio i/o such as spdif, interconnection is very easy and should have no signal degradation.
