a while back i posted a traditional scottish air arranged with GPO and a couple of synths. after a bit of feedback from gary i rearranged the piece a couple of times before i settled on this version (is it ever possible to really say you\'ve finished a piece of music?). i\'ve dumped the lead synth and added a whistle (but no bell) and union pipes.the whistle is actually the piccolo from GPO and the pipes are samples from zero g. i\'ve tried for that irish ensemble sound a la Ceoltóiri Chualann. dunno if it was succesfull but.

Mick,

Good to Return to Eriskay. This is extraordinary! Substituting the synths for traditional sounding instruments made quite a difference.

You were very successful in getting that traditional Scottish/irish ensemble sound.
Again, it\'s a nice surprise to hear GPO used in a traditional highlands folk song.

If people are having problems with Soundclick, I would be happy to host it on my site.

Thanks for sharing this.
