I see the bank indicator in the loaded instruments window. How do I use different banks so I can load more than 127 sounds?? How do I tell giga which bank to load into? THANKS

You need to modify the instruments in the GS Editor. In all sample libraries that I’m familiar with, Instruments are set up under Bank 0. Unfortunately, you can’t just change the Bank number. You need to right-click on Bank 0, Copy it, paste it as a new Bank, then delete Bank 0.

When I load instruments, they normally go into Bank 0. Once Bank 0 is full (128 instruments), GigaStudio continues to load additional instruments into Bank 1. But once they are assigned to Bank 1, they are inaccessable from MIDI input. This doesn\'t seem to be a bank assignment issue within the instrument itself. Once you have instruments in both banks 0 and 1, you should be able to send bank change commands in the MIDI stream. Is bank switching supported in GigStudio?
