Don\'t feel so bad -- it might as well have been 3am for me, since it was at 11pm (and I go to bed at 8).

But Gary only announces things as they draw near, so the two of us had the bad fortune that 150000 messages occured at that period of time. It could have just as easily been at 3pm.

Myself, I think it\'s just really nice of Gary to reward people here, since I can think of no other board that does this. Still yet another reason to buy GPO...

So can I ask what then would be the price of GOS lite to us here who own GPO? I\'m just so confused -- I can\'t click on Order on your web page to even see what the \"normal\" price is (I keep getting error messages in two different browsers, so I really think it\'s on your side).

Mike - GOS Lite was $199 I think before this remarkable offer - I can hardly believe it is being offered for $99????!!!!

Well if the order links are down, I guess we all need to wait for the 15,593 postings mark to come. For those too busy with real life issues to do the maths - postings on this forum came in at about 170 in the last 24 hours, so if this continues it will be approx 2.4 more days from now before the magic number is met. Gary, it is great of you to offer this, I highly suggest everyone here pick it up, if not the full version...

Just remember you need a seperate sampler to run this guys... it won\'t run inside GPO and I believe that the Maestro Tools only work with GigaStudio...

Other than that... hope you guys all have fun with the wonderful GOS!

When you say \"another sampler\" what exactly do I need then. I was under the impression it would run in GPO.

You need either the full Kontakt, HALion, or best of all GigaStudio.

I say \'best of all\' for GigaStudio because that\'s the format GOS arrives in, it will not work in GPO, you will need your own soft sampler.

Great for me, since I have the full Kontakt.

And perhaps this will encourage others to upgrade, since it\'s only $250 for the full version and you get to load lots more wonderful Garritan instruments. Getting the full Kontakt was the best thing I\'ve done for GPO.

Ya know, I thought I saw a giga folder in my hd once. May have been when I tried to install a TascamFW-1884 control surface and had nothing but trouble. Might be deleted by now. Would that have been the same thing?

The posts are way over -- but Gary has given another chance by saying the 15,983 (or some such -- you\'ll have to read this whole thread) will also get a copy (the 15,000 has come and gone).

I don\'t care -- I bought my copy for less than $100, so GOS lite is on it\'s way (thanks, Gary! Glad I thought of this :>)
