Hello. Whenever I try to launch GS 96, it crashes my computer. The computer is P4=2.0 gHz, 256 MG RAM, 80 gig HD 7200 rpm, Win XP, Frontier Design WaveCenter PCI soundcard

I use GS 96
1- I did a fresh install of Win XP
2 - Installed WaveCenter PCI driver and software
3 - Installed GS96 and registered it. Install appeared to go OK
4 - Installed GS ver. 2.54 update. After re-booting the computer, and launching GS,
I get the configuration wizard asking me to check the settings. When the wizard finishes and closes, my computer crashes. When I re-launch GS, the wizard wants to run again, and the cycle repeats.
5 - I contacted Tascam tech support. They suggested doing a thorough un-install of GS following the instructions posted at the web-site.
6 - I do the complete un-install of GS
7 - I re-install GS. The registration wizard runs and I successfully register the software. The configuration wizard runs and when it closes Win XP crashes.

GS will run in diagnostic mode. Below I have copied the diagnostic report following the most recent installation of GS

Any suggests for how I can get GS up and running on my machine?
Thanks jmp

This sounds like the problem I had. The solution was to reboot to Windows safe mode; launch GigaStudio; and uncheck \"Monitor File Activity\" under the QuickSound settings. After a reboot everything worked great.
