I have no problem with other libary but when I use Gigapiano, I get a chime-like sound when I lift the keys after pressing on the sustain pedal and after playing a few pessage the note got cut off abruptly. Anyone has encountered such problem before?

Yes I have, it\'s the rom.. I also think it\'s not that great as well.. contains a lot of noise (the samples)

GigaP is already a very old library. Go for the newer samples like bosendorfer or steinway.

Check your PC performance, likely piano-sample is required huge of polyphony, where CPU\'s speed, Memory\'s capacity and harddisk\'s performance all are processed hardly.

Nothing to do with it, glitches just happen in GS with this and other roms. My system is 100% tweaked, fast and mean and it\'s giving the glitches hendrylai describes also.

Gigapiano isn\'t too great.

Thanks guys. Yes I don\'t think it\'s a CPU problem \'cause GS requirement for
160 voices is a PII 800 and I\'m using an Athelon 1.2 G, recommended memory
is 128M RAM and I have 512M, plus I have fine tuned it to run perfectly for
audio in Cubase VST. But anyway I have friend that claimed he did not have
this problem; he\'s using Pentium III 1.8G 512M RAM. So it really puzzles me.

hi
Its the Gigapiano itself, I think its
the release layer making those Twwiiing
sounds.
I know Trachtmann has made an .art file
that removes the release layer, maybe it
will help.
Look at: http://www.wstco.com (\"http://www.wstco.com\")

By the way Trachtmann has made an excellent
( so it seems from the Demo\'s )
and cheap 8-layer Steinway for Giga.

Me? I\'m waiting for Post\'s new Steinway -
that\'s the best piano library I\'ve heard
so far. :-)
