GPO with Trackautomation in LogicPro6?

Is there anyway to control the GPO-player(kompakt) with Trackautomation instead of midi messages in Logic?
I know there is a transformer in the enviroment but I didn't get it to work properly.
Here is what I'd like to do:

load an instrument with 8 patches (vl,cello etc.) and then control each
channels vari.control etc. using trackautomation.

I'm presently using multiinstrument object in the enviroment to split the instrument to separate channels,but then I have to use midi to control them.

you might try asking this on the Yahoo LUG. I'm sure there is a way to convert it - but you can't just use track automation data of course. Do you just want it for the quick editing??
