How do you make wave files into Gig files?

If anyone has the time, can someone please tell me step by step how to take wav files and load them it into the Giga editor and make my own gig out of the wav files?
I get stuck every time it tells me \"no regions are selected\". How do you select a region in the first place?
Any help would be appreciated. I\'ve got some cool tibetan bowls that are wavs, I want to make a gig file out of.
