Hi!

Is anyone using Giga (any version) with Sonar running under Win2000 or XP? If so, have you had any problems with performance, crashes, etc.? Please post your system specs, soundcard etc. I\'m considering \"upgrading\" to Giga 32 or perhaps 96 to use with Sonar. Thanks in advance!

THanks for the reply Hayden. What are your system specs? Thanks!

My system is nothing fancy. It\'s a home brew with a PIII-733 processor, i815e chipset motherboard, 512 MB PC133 RAM, 2 Maxtor 7200 RPM IDE drives and an Echo Darla 24 soundcard. I\'ve tweaked the system some. I get full 96 voices of polyphony without pops and clicks and am able to run at least 6 stereo audio tracks in Sonar with Giga.

I\'m running GigaStudio 96 with Sonar XL win Win XP. Giga seems to load slowly and some of the .gig files load slowly. The system runs fine but Giga has a tendency to crash on shutdown. I\'ve always had problems with Giga crashing on shutdown even in Win 98 SE.

Thanks again Haydn! You\'ve given me hope that the two can co-exist and play nicely together. Take care!
