Here in Australia, the bass player of INXS is selling his house, complete with studio;

It is set on 25 acres and is a "Santa FE" style home. The asking price is "offers over 2 million" (roughly 1.4 million U.S.) Not bad considering the console alone was probably worth a million in its day!

The location is approximately 40 mins north of Sydney, Australia's largest city. The studio has two live rooms , two iso rooms, one control room, and accomodation for 6-8 people.

There is also a self contained studio next door, with a further 3 live rooms and a control room.

That is an amazing price!. You'd find it hard to get a decent 1 bedroom flat in the centre of London for that price these days.
