Hi

I am using Gigastudio 2 with a Turtle Beach Fiji sound card.

My problem is that I only seem to have 2 mixer input channels available to use.
Has anyone else had this problem / managed to fix it?

Gordon

The card probably uses DX and not GSIF drivers - which means that you won\'t get more than 2 DSP channels.

Surely the use of Direct Sound drivers only limits the output mixer ports not the input channels?

What do you mean input channels? Gigastudio has no inputs except for MIDI ports.

When you add an instrument to a MIDI port you can then assign it to 1 of 32 input channels in the DSP station. This allows you to individually add effects to each instrument. These are then routed through the 2 soundcard outputs.
That is the theory - but my DSP channels are only 2.

Yes that\'s right. And you won\'t get more than 2 of those inputs without a GSIF soundcard.
