Old question : GS and GST together

Sure an old question but I can\'t find the answer.Can I run GS and GST side by side on the same machine.
I need to check if a Gig 2 file is compatible with GS.

As far as I know, it\'s not possible, unless you have a dual boot system.

I remember someone mentioned a special patch to run both apps on the same machine without the dual boot option.
Anyone?

Michiel, I read somewhere that Gig 2 files are backward compatible with GS. My understanding is that the version 2 information is ignored by Gigasampler. Now as to exactly what that version 2 information is, I\'m a little unsure...
