Separate sample and settings

Hi all,

I\'m using GigaSample LE and it seems that changes of an instrument are always stored in the (very large .gig) file.

I consider this very inappropriate. I don\'t want to change the original file. Of course you can copy it, but this would need much space on the hard disk.

What I would like is:
- A large file, containing the samples.
- Many small files (definining different instruments), each using the sample file, but having different settings for velocity, filtering etc.

Is this possible???

You can create multiple instruments within one gig file. They can all draw on the same sample data, but be different in the way you mention.
