Hello.

I have now successfully installed GS3 Orchestra, with assistance from folk here on the forum:)

I have loaded the following

GigaPiano II Full Modelled /M/S audience
Pedal up Res/MS (gigapulse)
Pedal Down Res/audience (gigapulse)

I have tried loading the above into channels 2,3 and 4 (or is it 4,5)

When the above is loaded into channels 2,3, everything is okay.

When I load into an extra channel and play something, the system freezes; mouse freezes and the sound just repeats in a loop :(

My system is

Memory: 1279 Mbytes
1 - CPU: 2143 MHz, AuthenticAMD (CPU ID 6a0)
OS: Windows Xp v5.1.2600

Ahtlon 3000
1.5 gig ram

Maxtor 6L04032
ST380021A
WDC WD20 00JD-00GBBO SCSI Disk Device

WaveOut devices (1):
Device 0 - DMX 6fire Wave

I wonder if I have reached the capacity of my computer with GigaPulse.

Perhaps someone could give me some tips as to getting my system tuned up to the best performance possible. Many thanks.

Paul Copeland.

I only get two instances with my AMD XP 2200+. Six is excellent! You might stick with five to be safe though.

And, yes, when pushed to the limits, bad things happen. :)

I only get 1 instance before my system crashes. Not surprising since I'm running below minimum specs with a P4 1.4 GHz. But 1 is better than none, right?

It seems consistent. Run the engine at too high an RPM and it blows up.

The good news is that when I've setup a working template, it runs all day long with no hiccups.

Great...even the australians have it already. Now I'm pissed.

Hey Paul,
I'm also in Australia :-) Where did you get GS3 here?

Hi Mal.

You asked.

Hey Paul,

I ordered GigaOrchestra upgrade from

http://www.mtlc.net/main.php?

Their email response was almost immediate :)

I had the package sent to me via DHL for an extra $50! The package arrived within about 5 days!

Unfortunately the package went through customs and for reasons completely unknown to me customs charged $55 GST plus Australian govt charges of $44.

I am going to follow up with DHL, because I have never had to pay any charges like this before for software from overseas.

Best wishes to you and your family and bye for now.
