Big trouble in XP.. Please reply :)

Hey all.. I use Gigastudio 2.50.10 with Cakewalk Sonar 2 XL in XP Professional.. This setup worked fine on my old comp that had Win98 but i\'ve got a big prob in XP. Whenever i try to unload an instrument the comp, for some reason, shuts down and restart..

Any ideas about how to fix this?

Update your version.

Head over to the Tascam forum.
Somewhere amist all those posts is a section on how to uninstall a previous version of giga.
Also has a search for some files from the 98se version that may be hanging around in the XP version.
Did you upgrade to XP or do a fresh install??

I installed XP to a completely new machine..

its important that you use 2.50.48

and...

its the XP/w2k version NOT the win98 version

also, soundcards may be an issue
