Tascam has updated their "Download" page to provide an "official" link to the Version 3.01 Patch.

I would suggest everyone upgrade, so all of our new "bugs" will be based on the most current software version.
According to the instructions in the "GS3_301_changes.pdf" document:
Installing the Version 3.01 Patch Updater

It is NOT necessary to uninstall V3.00 or use GigaClean before running the V3.01 Patch Updater.
1. Download and run the V3.01 GS3 Patch Updater. You will need your GS3 CD-Key to access the download page.
2. Restart your computer.
