experience with 6-fire in combination with gigastudio and cubase?

Does anyone had experience working with Sonar XL/ Cubase VST 5.1 and Gigastudio in combination with a Terratec 24/96 6-Fire? Does this works fine or is it a total pain?

I\'ve got \"working\" system with a Terratec EWX 24/96
together with GigaSampler LE and Logic Fun.
(Both went with the package of the EWX 24/96)

The performance is quite poor. Even with a few notes
I get tiny ticks and clicks (a bit similar to a vinyl record).

However, I don\'t know what causes this poor behaviour.
It might be the AMD Athlon at 900 MHz. Is GigaSampler
better optimized for Intel?

Anyhow, I doesn\'t resemble the system of your question,
but I think that the EWX 24/96 6-Fire is the successor of
the EWX 24/96, so I expect GigaStudio to at least recognize the board.
