loading ceases and wav files

After auditioning sounds Giga stops loading completely ( 1 gig ram system) also without any known reason Giga will load some wav files but not others. I have yet been able to find any connecting factors as to why. Somestimes they will show up in the distributed wave area but not load. Any clues

This happens to me when I try and load a converted Akai sound which is bad. If you find you can repeat the freeze by trying to load the same gig file, try to locate the bad conversions and delete them.

Can\'t help you there. For me, if it\'s a true wav file, Giga always loads it into the distributed wav area, ready to play.

I had problems also using distributed wavs and 24bits wavs...
