Petition to have the Chat Always OPEN

I know this may sound silly, but I, among other would love to have the chat open 24/7, and if that means having someone dedicated to hosting it, I'd be glad to do it...I love chatting, and those of you who attend the chats know im there 95% of the time.

Do you NEVER sleep, JB? I didn't realize your middle name was "Vampira" (or is it Beelzebub? or Betelgeuse?).

I'm guessing the only problem with having the NS chat open 24x7 is that there might be a lack for "proper supervision". After all, we don't want some crazy flock suddenly entering and sponsoring a VSL rebellion or something untoward!

Perhaps it can be tried as an experiment?

Well, what if someone made like a bot that would moderate? like the ones on IRC? or even better, revert back to an IRC chat, but use a java-chat progam on this site that would open up the chatroom in IRC?
