Just curious why so many DAW building companies are favoring Pentium 4 over the Athlon when the Pentium 4 has abandoned the same floating point math used in the Pentium 3 models and the Athlons?

1- Intel CPU\'s don\'t get as hot as AMD\'s, even when you overclock them, so you need less cooling = less annoying noise.

2- I still think that P4\'s run a bit more stable than AMD\'s.

3- Intel CPU\'s are much easier to install.
