Hi folks - since putting on 2.53 on 3 seperate PCs all with different configs, I have the following message (running win2k and both XP):-
\"Your system has recovered from a serious error
Would you like to disable all drivers associated with the Giga technology?\"
Anyone else had this?

I got that message before the update. I am adding the update to my computer tonight but I am less than hopeful. Unfortunately it sounds like the update doesn\'t fix this problem (actually created it in your case). When you reboot, do you have to go into diagnostic mode and all, or does Giga still work fine even with the error message?

Actually it only did it once on all 3 PCs, since rebooting everything\'s been fine. (strange I know)

usually this message appears if you try to start GS without allowing enough time for the system to load msg32.exe, upon reboot or powerup .... patience fixes it :-)

I've been getting this warning an awful lot on a new build P4 computer. However I'm not even running Gigastudio. The whole computer freezes after a few seconds of booting up unless I disable the Gigastudio drivers.
But I've also been running the computer fine with Gigastudio for large periods without any problems.
The computer has decided to go through one of these bad patches now. It's a disaster. I'm trying to unload programs, drivers to try and get things back working again.
I've always had a sneaking suspicion it had something to do with graphic card. But I've changed the card and the drivers - and still get this intermittent error.
