Cubase and restarts

When your PC restarts itself when you perform a certain task in Cubase... its bad right?

Is it always the same task you are performing?
What version of Cubase and what OS are you using?

Ed, the same problem I have now! When I just open any Cubase (from 2.8 to vst 3.553) PC restarts itself. & when I\'ve tried different config-s (borowing components of my friends), I had no problems exept my motherboard - it is diffective. So I need to buy new one to resolve this problem. Have u checked yours?
