Hi Everyone!!!!
I'm so happy to be back here (in the forum and at home!).
My concerts get a great success, and my pizza also ;-)
It was hard to stand so far from my GPO, and now I can't wait to write down something cool, also inspired by the wonderful places that I've seen (especially Island which is amazing!)
So...maybe this topic means nothing, but hope that you don't mind if I have the pleasure to share with you the fact to be happy to have returned.
Best to all the community! Keep on going!
Francesco

Hi,
thanks-thanks-thanks....
To LOW....I didn't announce because I didn't had time to come here before my departure.I 'll try not to make the same mistake next time.
I was in Holland (Amsterdam), Denmark (Copenaghen), Island (Rekjiavik) and London (Stansford)....
I was conducting a little ensemble playing some italian classical tunes (you know...O SOLE MIO- FUNICULI FUNICULA- TORNA A SURRIENTO and so on).
In Amsterdam I am the arranger of the incoming musical about Van Gogh named VINCENTwhich will have the premiere in the fall of january (I'll let know the exact date for the GPO customers in Amsterdam), and will be performed by the Netherlands Musical Ensemble. Of course all the songs and BG music of this huge work features the GPO and GOS for the most parts of the orchestra.....
You can hear something at this web address : http://www.vincentmusical.it
The "THEO'S SONG" which you will find there is also singed by me....all the songs are in english...but all performed by Italian artists...so I apoligize for the pronunciation ;=)
The music it's not mine....and also some arrangements were made long time ago with something like PROTEUS 2 and JV-1080.

So...if anyone is so kind to let me know how to post a photo here, I'll do.
Grazie e Ciao
Hi Danielle....nice photo, can't wait to hear something new from you...(or maybe you already did while I was away?)
Bye
