Hello Forum....Iam new to NI soft samplers.What hardware recommendations for kompakt...and then eventually Kontakt.

Do they require separate HDrives for Apps and Samples. What HDrive are suggested. Just general hardware issues.

How is the manual/documentation, any online flash tutorial

Hi Bert, definetely a seperate hard drive for streaming samples. The newer SATA drives are good or drives with 8mb caches are great too. Western Digital makes a good 7200rpm ATA drive with an 8 mb cache.

RAM is probably more important CPU, get as much as you can, at least 1gig but the more the better.
