Hey guys,

As you all know, i love adding raw realness to my work, and i have a guitar piece, and i wanted to know if anyone had a Guitar amp that makes some quiet noise or hum? actually, any sort of amplification device. or even ANYTHING thats electrical that hums? Could someone record just about 15 seconds of the hum? Id greatly appreciate it!

My equipment no longer hums, since I taught it the words... :D

All this time and thousands of dollars to create a prefectly quiet signal path, and now you want hum?

I'm sure you guys still have a pair of unshielded cables lying around somewhere just to help the man with a bit of noise?

Just take any phono plug from the back of your stereo with the amp on and unplug it and hold the lead to the connector and you will get similiar hum noise.
I use a noisegate on my Strat so it no longer hums. :D

Cheers,

Not any more, but I know a lot of composers who fall into this category.
