This problem keeps occuring and it\'s driving me nuts. My MIDI drivers just die, and if I load Sonar, it prompts me to choose MIDI inputs. If I choose them, and hit OK, it still complains that there are no MIDI inputs. The only solution is a reboot.. unless someone else knows a better way of dealing with this, please let me know.
Thanks!

Are you using an SBLive card?

Well.. MIDI drivers can be locked by an application. I come across this often whenever I load GS first and then the sequencer (or anything else that uses midi input/output) I always avoid this by loading GS last. I\'ve never had a problem doing it this way.
Applications that lock midi ports don\'t always release them once you close the programs themselves.

Weird, I was always under the impression you were supposed to run GS before the sequencer. I\'ll try it this other way.
