Optimized Sonar Settings with Gold

I just bought another gig of RAM for my new Gold Library so now I have 1.5 gigs, but I'm still experiencing a couple of dropouts and I was curious if someone could post their settings with SONAR/Gold or give some suggestions...thanks ahead of time. :)

Do you have the most recent version of the Kompakt player and DFD installed on your computer?

WDM or Asio drivers ? I don't have Gold but I can use in the same time : Atmosphere, Drumkit for Hell Superior Drummer, Drumkit for Hell Superior Percussions and Trilogy without any dropout on Asio. With WDM, forget it ... :)

Yeha I got DFD installed and it helped alot but evry like 10 minutes or so I get a ropout...it isn't that big of a deal but, hey I figored if someone out there could fix that then what the hey.... :)

Oh I'm sorry ONE more thing My recording Card is an M Audio Audiophille 2496...it says Asio options on one of the screens...so I'm assuming its Asio..I really don't understand the recording card either..man I'm retarded

To set your Sonar for Asio :

- Options
- Audio
- Advanced
- Driver mode : Asio

You must restart Cakewalk Sonar ... I have an Hammerfall DSP but without this Asio setup, I had several dropout.
