CPU jam after 1 min of RMX

I've set up RMX with many SAGE expanders. They sound great. But after a little while (and I'm all happy and ready to work) my CPU seems to go into some kind of feedback loop and all of a sudden RMX is silent. Still there; No crash: Not jammed but it won't play. I'm using Protools TDM / RTAS and I have a G4 dual with tons of ram. Anyone know why?? I would be ever so grateful..........
