Gigasampler playing back wrong sounds

I have played a midi drum pattern on my drums run thru an Alesis DM5 and recorded the midi pattern into Cakewalk 9.

I then ran Gigasampler with Bob Clearmountain Drums 2 loaded and captured the midi file.

The trouble is that when I play the wav file back, it sounds like a mess of drum hits but on the wrong drums!

Do I need to transpose the midi file to match BC drums layout?

Do I need to transpose the midi file to match BC drums layout? <font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Arial\">Yes. One way to do it is in the piano roll view. Clicking on the keyboard (or instrument names) on the left side will select all instances of that note. In other words, you can select all the bass drum notes and then transpose them in one go. Then do the same for the other drum parts and you\'re done.
