Hiya

I\'m building a PC for giga, and I spotted the Marian Marc A (\"http://www.etcetera.co.uk/products/MED040.shtml\") soundcard. I has and adat out, and costs just 99 bucks! It says it has drivers for Giga, and I\'m wondering if anyone is having any success/problems using this card with giga.

Thanks in advance images/icons/smile.gif

Hi,

I am using a Marian Marc2 card in my set-up. So far the only problem that I have come across is that it seems quite easy to clip it where the individual sounds are quite high in the first place. Also, where frequencies exist over a vast range ie:- 16hz to 20k this can also create cross modulation distortion which can be a pain. However, this is nothing new since I have noticed the same problem on many commercial recordings.

Otherwise, it seems to do the job very well.
