View Full Version : Altiverb IRs V Everything else...

Hi,
I'm running Logic Pro 6.4.3 and have been using SpaceDesigner with some IRs I have discovered on the Net. The problem is, compared to the altiverb IRs, they sound so sterile unlike the altiverb ones which seem to bring everything to life. Is anyone aware of any comercial/non commercial IRs which are as good as the altiverb ones I can use in SpaceDesigner?

There are only 2 imulse responses on the site.... am I missing something!? Plus the SIR is only available for the PC...

I'm sure this is not what you want to hear, but - making good IRs is an art like making good recordings of instruments. Doing it professionally (like AudioEase does) helps a _lot_.

BTW - the IRs that come with Apple Pro 7 are much better than the few examples of Logic 6, too.

There are a few great, platform-idependant IR-sets available, like the ones from Numerical Sound.
