Sorry for that.
Anyway, just finished installing new pc\'s for home studio setup. 2 Dells (p4 2.5 ghz)WindowsXP...
1 PC FOR GSTUDIO:
I installed up to version 2.54 and all was well
until I went to \"rebuild Entire QuickSound Database\"....
Here\'s what I get:
MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ RUNTIME LIBRARY
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\\Program Files\\Nemesys\\GStudio\\GStudio.exe
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusal way
I click OK then it says...
The instruction at \"0x73dd1351\" referenced memory at \"0x00000000004\" The memory could not be read.
WHAT THE HELL?????
Help! SOS Thanks a mill.
Frank

sounds like there might be a corrupt gig,
find out where/what file the rebuilding crashes on by watching the file names, then maybe delete that file.

King,
Thank you for helping me, man.
Trouble is, it wont even get that far.
As soon as I hit scan...bang, this happens.
I reinstalled 4 times now.
Any chance that it could be a windowsxp update that I have clicked, \"remind me later\" since this is a spanking new PC?
Im freaking out
