Problems importing video into Sonar XL 2.2

I\'ve imported an mpg clip into Sonar to compose alongside. I notice that after a few seconds of playing, the video starts to lag.. and everything slows down a bit. Why is this happening and how can I remedy it?

Hmm, quite possibly not enough keyframes in the clip?. You could try exporting the clip as an AVI, specifying a higher no. of keyframes (values=1 to 5, 1 makes every frame a keyframe, 2 every 2nd frame etc.) and then re-import the new clip.
