I have GS3 Orchestra, and I can't seem to find this. Any suggestions?

They changed the product spec between the time they announced GS3 and the time that it shipped. The translator, unfortunately doens't exist...

From the GS3 website:
Translator Giga Edition is not included with GigaStudio 3.0, but is available for purchase from the TASCAM store.

There IS a Translator GIGA Edition, but Tascam and Chicken Systems did not agree on a deal that would include it in the product. I would suggest contacting Chicken Systems about:
- $79 the "Giga" Edition [one of the "Special Editions"]
- $149 their complete "Pro" edition

I was just looking for the same thing in the manual last night!
What's all the blurb about SConverter then?

To my knowledge, S-Converter is GigaStudio's own AKAI conversion utility, which is built in to GS2 and GS3.
Chicken Systems Translator Pro (and Translator Giga Special Edition) peform more translations to GIGA than S-Converter. If you post a question in the Chicken Systems forum, I am sure that Garth can provide detail about the functionality of Translator vs. S-Converter.
