How is that suddenly a base technology (physical modelling) suddenly is developped "again" by quite some developpers? I know developpers are pros in this matter, but who decides that Terabytes of samples are in 2-3 years no longer going to be that wanted, when some months ago they were the stuff to buy?

Are we talking about spionnage, tendencies or common sense and observation?
