OK, AM I THE ONLY ONE THATS FIGURED THIS OUT OR AM I JUST LATE AS USUAL!?
when you load GPO as a standalone program, and youse your computer keys as keys on the keyboard? anyone notice this? z-/ are whole notes, a-" are accents, and then q-] are whole notes 1 octave higher and 1-0 are accents, then the Shift keys then shift raises everyuthing an octave, and crtl is a sustain pedal, same with alt, crtl+shift loswers the octave, ctrl+shift+alt lowers it again, whoa..... my life has changed...

Interesting discovery, Sam! Call me traditional, but I'm a lot more comfortable with the old white and black keys. :)

Actually you guys are pretty late... This concept is as old as soundtracker-based music on the Amiga, then Atari and PC. Hehehe :) (1985 guys !)
I NEVER understood why so called "pro" midi software never had that feature. I mean, if I don't have a midi keyboard connected I have to enter notes with the mouse ?? This is so retarded... And quite often I wanted to make music in some place where I didn't have a midi keyboard...
It could really make life easier sometimes when I'm working in Sonar, or am I just dumb and there actually IS something like that available midi sequencers ?? Then please educate me :)

Sonar uses this feature. It may be a Sonar feature instead of a GPO feature. I've used it for drum patterns when I am lazy and don't want to turn around to my keyboard when loading different patches.

Which version of Sonar please ?
Do I need to activate it somewhere or does it work at launch ?
Thanks !

I was big into trackers! I won a few competitions for my tracker-based music. :) This was back when a 1MB Gravis UltraSound was the best sound card for the job, as it wouldn't tax your 386 or 486 processor. ;) Made all my own samples too.
