I have looked through most of the monitor discussions on this forum. I am now trying to finalize my decision. These are to be used in a desktop home studio for day to day near field work and occasional mixing and "mastering", (if I dare call it that).
I am doing "classical" composing but not so interested in large scale romantic-era orchestration.I want to be able to hear details and placement well but I also do not want to get tired out from just listening all day.
I have ruled out the Event ASP8 because I do not think I need the added bass and I would prefer a smaller footprint, however, if I am making a mistake, I would like to hear about it.
