Giga and WAV files

Can Gigastudio read WAV files ? I have the Chicken Systems translator already but cant seem to fathom it out ? I want to be able to buy the sample CDs in WAV format and use them as easily as those in Giga format.
Any help greatly appreciated .

You can use samples in wav format, but it will never be as easy as Giga format. A huge amount of time is spent creating Giga instruments out of those wavs.

You use the Giga Editor to build instruments out of wav files. It\'s not a conversion process.
