Has anyone had this happen and do they know what caused it ?
Everytime I load up and use the bassoon 1 solo patch it goes insane, Because whenever a key on the keyboard is pressed and held the note goes up like the pitch wheel is being moved yet the pitch wheel has not been touched ! Do you think it's possessed or something ? All other instruments are fine. Maybe I'm missig something here ? or should I call priest :) lol

Curious...

What platform / sequencer are you using?

For example, there are know buggy issues with Cakwalk's Sonar (version 3 and up) when loading GPO as a DXi. (Loading as a VST is fine.)

Hmmm, that's a first! Never happened to me. To reiterate the previous question, what are you using?

Yeah, I know the DXi player in SONAR will move the virtual pitch wheel if you touch certain GUI elements (like the keyboard). To get it back to normal, just tweak the pitch wheel on your keyboard (or send a pitch-zero message via your sequencer).

If your problems are more than that, call the exorcist! :)

I use cubase sx but it happens when I use gpo as a stand alone aswell so I dont think its a sequencer problem, Maybe I should get some holy water lol ! :)

Perhaps you should experiment with your latency (audio card) settings. Move that 'ol slider around a bit.

Tried all the different sound card settings and it doesn't seem to make a difference, If it helps it even happens when using the virtual keyboard. The soundcard I have is the dmx 6fire 24/96, Are there issue's with this card ?
Thank you for all your suggestions so far, anymore ?

(You know I think I can hear tubular bells playing in the background.) :)

Bluepasture24,

Make sure that the VAR 1 and VAR 2 are turned all the way down. I don't use them frequently enough to remember which one, it affects the pitch at which each individual note gets altered randomly, and that could be what you are hearing.

Are you sure you're not using the "Goosed Bassoon Solo" patch? That poor guy got pinched on the bum every time he tried to play a note!

Ive just found out it happens when I put the porta dial up, the vari dials are all at 0, Should it do that if the porta's dial is up ? If it should I feel like a right idiot. lol :) (no surprise there !)
Still I'll keep the computer away from soup for the time beind. :D
